Business Junction invites you to join 60+ companies at the Dickens Inn, a unique pub with restaurants housed in a beautiful 18th century warehouse in the heart of St Katharine's Dock, a short walk from Tower Hill station. This is always a very popular lunch so early booking is advised.

Before this event, for those guests who can make it, Business Junction member, Steve Newman of Steve Walks Basil, will be offering free pre-lunch guided 1 hour walking tour of the immediate area.

St Katherine's Dock is a brilliant place to start for a tour around the lesser known Wapping area. From the 1820’s Dock itself, the tour will take in the Dickensian riverside with its warehouses and pubs and introduce you to Wapping’s famous residents ranging from Captain Kidd, Brunel, Turner, & Captain Cook to Cher and Graham Norton! This area was ‘sailortown’ in the 18th century and the birthplace of the River Police and the history of pirates, dockers and shipbuilding still permeates every nook and cranny of this fascinating area.

Following your booking, please email admin@businessjunction.co.uk separately if you wish to be included for this tour and we will meet in front of the Dickens Inn at 11am prompt to start the walk, returning in time for the start of the Business Junction lunch event at 12.30pm.

At the event, guests will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch and complimentary drinks while getting to know other business owners, directors and senior representatives from a rich mix of business sectors.

Non-members can visit us on up to 2 occasions and each event costs £25+VAT to include lunch (£20 for members)

Please email admin@businessjunction.co.uk with any questions about this event or membership in general and we hope to meet you at the Dickens Inn.
