Business Junction invites you to take up The Meridian Pull Challenge with us on Sunday 9^th October 2016.  The Meridian Pull Challenge is an 8.5 mile row on the River Thames starting in Westminster and continuing past the Houses of Parliament through the centre of London, under Tower Bridge with the finish at The AHOY Centre in Greenwich.

The Challenge is run by the AHOY Centre charity (www.ahoy.org.uk) and the money raised provides vital funding to enable the AHOY Centre to continue their work with disadvantaged young people and disabled people.  See a short video about AHOY here: https://youtu.be/vdcowKAMdWM

It is challenging but fun and you will certainly see London from a completely different view point! Each rowing boat can take 6 rowers and there will be a professional cox on each boat to oversee our efforts!  It is a great opportunity to work as a team and involve colleagues, friends or family. Whether you are an individual or have a team eager to start, we hope you take up this Challenge and join us for this special event.

You need no rowing experience - The AHOY Centre’s qualified rowing instructors will assess your fitness before you embark on the training programme. All you need is enthusiasm and determination.

The training programme:  All teams need to complete a training session which lasts 3 hours and the AHOY Centre will provide all the equipment you need, a training assessment and induction and the water training for your team.
